What cleaning products are good for migraine sufferers?
Q. I get really bad migraines and one of my triggers are strong odors, such as cleaning products, scented candles, perfumes etc. I can avoid most of those things except the cleaning products. Does anyone know of any cleaning products that are scent free or specifically for people sensitive to odors? Keep in mind I still want something that will clean well! Any suggestions would be great!

Are retailers that sell new and used products allowed to open a product before completing the transaction?
Q. The retailer in question sells both new and used products. It differentiates between the two by virtue of the product being opened. If the product is not opened, it is new. If it is opened, it is used. The retailer charges different amounts for a used product than it does a new product. By the retailer opening it before you take possession of it, is this not in effect selling a used item at new item prices? Does this violate any laws or are there any Customer Protection laws that prevent this behavior?
Asked by Shane C - Tue May 27 16:03:42 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The retailer can do anything they want to a product before they sell it including inspecting the product to ensure everything is included in the package. A product is used if it has performed it's intended function for a customer or has been used as a demonstration product. It is not used simply because the package has been opened.

Asked by Leah B - Tue Jul 10 10:39:03 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I guess what you are asking is what useful products are made from poisonous starting materials. The best example I could give you is polycarbonate (Thick- clear plastic - sparklets water bottles). They use phosgene and bisphenol-A. Bisphenol-A is a diphenol and phosgene is a deadly poison (COCl2) ref: ref: COCl2 + HO-R-OH --> --((C=O)-O-R-O-)-- ref: There are many other polymers made with toxic monomers. Hexamethylene diamine used to made nylon is highly toxic: ref: NH2(CH2)4NH2 + COOH(CH2)4COOH --> --(COHN(CH2)6NHCO(CH2)4-) - ref: ref: there are countless other examples - these are just two..

A. Try getting more protein in your diet. The typical American diet is murder on the hair and nails. Less fat, more protein - you know, the same stuff you hear on the news over and over and never pay any attention to. But it's all true. It makes you healthier, improving your hair, skin, nails, attitude, sex life . . .

A. Bleach isnt as scary as the person before me makes it seem. If you havent used bleach before on your hair your stylist using it properly on you will cause minimal damage. Sun-in wont help, because you have red hair and it wont get rid of any warm tone.

What products, today, were the result of a mistake to create a different product?
Q. I've heard that 3M's Post-It Notes were the result of a mistake to create a new super glue. And that Kellogg's Corn Flakes were invented when the Kellogg brothers mistakely left their kettle cook too long when trying to create a different food product. And that the Chinese were trying to develop a health product that would result in immortality -- which failed -- but is being used today as gunpowder. Do you know of other products that were created as a by-product of mistakenly trying to create something else?

Asked by mo - Thu Jan 28 06:04:10 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Hi, mo The use of skin care oils or natural skin care products does not depend upon the colour of your complexion. It depends upon the texture of your complexion. If you have acne then there are chances of your skin being oily. Therefore, for oily skin or acne prone skin skin you should drink green tea. Secondly, you must drink 1-2 litres of water everyday for clearing the toxins and bacteria. Try to refrain from using oil on your face because it is already oily. There are other good remedies in this article; "How to get rid of acne. I have provided the link below for you to see. I hope it helps :)

What are good products to use for shaving armpits and legs?
Q. I have never shaved my armpits or legs. I'm a guy. I was thinking about waxing my legs, but salons ask for too much and I think I will really mess up if I try by myself. I definitely want to shave my armpits and not wax them. My question is: what products do I need to get for shaveing my legs and armpits? Like what are good shaving creams, razors, and after shave lotions. I'm looking for names of good products. Thank you ahead of time.
Asked by ShyGuy - Sun Jan 11 19:12:59 2009 - - 1 Answers - 1 Comments

A. I've found hair conditioner works better than any shaving product I've tried. And, if you're naturally hairy and shave a lot of places, having it come in a big pump bottle to use in the shower is a bonus. I also switched to hair conditioner for shaving my face after reading about it online (maybe here on Yahoo Answers?) - heaps less irritation, and even a smoother shave. I use a Mach 3 razor (because the newer ones cost too much), and I try to change the razor after about three full shaves (legs, armpits, chest, face), when you shave a lot, it gets blunt quickly. This will depend on how hairy you are. I also find that, using hair conditioner, I usually don't need any kind of after shave lotion, but sometimes use my girlfriend's Avene… [cont.]
